Cali, Greyhound mix, 15 months. Cali is very playful and sweet. Because she has so much energy, probably not good with small children. She will need a lot of exercise and space to run. Cali will need some training on basic commands. Call 970-466 7387

|Animal ID: 1097Hiro (male)|
Hiro Lab/Greyhound Mix Male 2 years old 64 lbs. Yippee! A new friend! I'm Hiro, and I absolutely LOVE meeting new people! Like my celebrity role model Hugh Jackman, I'm a bit of a people pleaser. I'm super friendly and love everyone! At the dog park, I love greeting people and playing with the other dogs. I zoom around showcasing my graceful running style - I'd run all day if you let me! I'll even sing and dance if the mood strikes! Like Hugh said, 'If you love something, you don't just read about it; you hug it, you mess with it, you play with it.' I'm smart and inquisitive, so I want to enjoy the heck out of life! It's so fun to chase birds and squirrels, or goof around with toys. Toys! What's not to love about toys? And snacks! What's not to love about snacks? There are so many things that make me burst with joy! So yep, I have too much energy to be a couch dog. I'd love to find someone who wants to live life to the fullest with me! We could go hiking, biking, train for marathons-I'll be the best adventure buddy you could hope for! We could even compete in canine agility events if that sounds fun. Think of all the new friends we'll make together. After a day well spent, I'll be your snuggle pal who might just try to sit in your lap. Cuddling makes me super happy, too! Can you please email email@example.com or fill out an adoption application at https://pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-application/? I will jump for joy! (Less)

|PIease Read Before Adopting a Greyhound in Colorado|
Greyhound Dogs can make good pets in Colorado if they match your IifestyIe. The Greyhound is a reserved, elegant, intelligent breed. Greyhounds are gentle, sweet companions that can be a joy to own. Greyhounds are excellent choices for adoption as adults; former racers are already crate trained and easy to housebreak, and this dog adapts well to new owners. Greyhounds have a strong chasing instinct and should not typically be trusted with non-canine animals. Greyhounds do well with older, considerate children. They do not like to be teased. A Greyhound can live in an apartment and may even behave lazily indoors, but does need daily exercise. Greyhounds are sensitive to extreme cold and should wear a coat outside in the winter.
